Poop……

Today started out normal,well as normal as a day can, as a mom of 5. It’s my SO day off today, it’s was suppose to be a relaxing family day. We rented some new movies, we brought our bed out to the living room, and got a bunch of junk food. We call this “Fat Sunday.” I was trying to enjoy the day, and relax, which comes very hard for me. I got up to get something and stepped in dog poop, ugh! Ok no big deal shit happens sometimes. Go into the bathroom and bam it’s dirty, clean my foot off and go to my room to catch my breath….I can’t… I start crying…..screaming….Shower….finally I feel like I can breath. This is just what one of my many anxiety attacks look like. As I was sitting here I know my triggers, but I don’t have a place to vent, let things off my chest. My randomness brought me back to this blog, this I will use as my outlet. 3 years later things have changed, I’ve lost , gained, and am trying to reconnect with the world around me. This has been a very trying year for me. Things are turning around, but I still feel lost and alone. This all while being off work for the summer. Being a stay at home mom, even for the summer has presented as one of my biggest and greatest challenges. So long story short, I’m back!
I don’t know what direction this blog will head, but I can promise randomness and sarcasm.

Day 17 Do you have an eating disorder?

Yes, ok no really I don’t have an eating disorder. I just really like food and by like I mean I love food. 😀 I have this inner fat girl in me and if I didn’t tell her no I’m sure I would be 300 pounds by now. Like I said in one of my previous post, I had an eating disorder when I was in high school. I no longer allow the eating disorder to run my life instead I have to fight off my inner self.

It never gets easier you just get better….

I completed my Couch to 5k Week 1 day 3 this morning. My last two runs i reached 1.34 miles, but today I was trying got 1.5. I didn’t get there but I came soooo close. My finally miles ran came out to 1.44. Like I said soooo close. I’m not going to make excuses i’m just going to push that much harder to get there.

What’s was on your table this week? Here are a couple of my favorite meals from this week. First one is seasons baked fish, steamed Brussels sprouts, and pasta with Italian seasoning.

Next would be chicken cooked with veggies sprinkled with Italian seasoning packet.

Pork chops cooked in the slow cooker covered in cream of mushroom soup. I made homemade bread, green beans, and noodles to go with it.

The last dish I have to share this week is Steamed stir fry and brown rice.

C2 5k

Like I said in my previous post, I am doing the Couch to 5 program. This program seems the best fit for me. It has been years sense I ran, so I figured, it best to start from the beginning. I heard about this program and figured I would try it. Its completely free and also seems much easier to me instead of going staright to running long distance, you run intervals. I am using the “Run Double” app from the play store. This app keeps track of all my run information in one place, times each run, and also tracks my pace. Among other things it maps my run for in on intervals. While running this apps tells you your stats along with telling you a then to switch from a walk to a run. Tomorrow I will complete day 3 of week 1. The last two days I was able to get to 1.32 miles. Tomorrow I’m hoping to push myself to get to 1.5. I’ll post my run status tomorrow and let everyone know how it went.

Day 15 : Are you a vegan or vedetarian? If so, has this helped you lose weight. If not would you ever consider turning vegan or vegetarian?

I was a vegetarian but choice for about 2 years. I didn’t feel a difference in how I felt on a day to day bases. I however did start craving meat, I started eating it again after about 2 years.

Day 16 When did you first decide to lose weight?

I first decided to lose weight while I was still pregnant with my youngest. Not really but defiantly soon after. He was my biggest baby weighting in at 9 lbs 3 oz. I didn’t drop the weight as quickly this time, but I decided I would be in bikini shape come summer time. 

Yesterday day I did 140 squats with my rest day today.

Tomorrow I finally get to get back to my Couch to 5k program. I did the first 2 days of week 1 last week. My 3rd day we had a snow day,( yes a snow day in APRIL!) So I was unable to run. I also have 2 left feet and twisted my ankle and fell on my right hip. I didn’t want to push running and injury myself more. I am how ever feeling better today so I will be doing day 3 of week one tomorrow on my break at work. YAY GO ME!! 

Feeling healthier by the day. 😀

 

Too Cool Tuesday!

Yup its Tuesday again which means its my random post day! So here are 10 more of my favorite randoms I have come a crossed on the web.

1. This is a super cute and very fitting maternity shirt. I wish I found this when I was still pregnant. This is how I felt daily.

2. Soup Holder. Super cool right. It will defiantly help keep my stove top just a little cleaner.

3. Lego walls! I think I could have just as much fun with this as the kids.

4. This is a lamp with glow in the dark balls. This would make for a super cool night-light. Its even mobile for the kids if they have to use the bathroom at night.

5. Bracelet Key! This is genius. As a person who does many outdoor activities I constantly find myself trying to figure out where to put my keys. This keeps it cute and simple.

6. This is a super cool idea I had many years ago but no money to do it. You put the small disk/ chip on anything you want. You lose it, you can use the app to find it with the locator app! YES AWESOME! I defiantly could use this on a daily basics…..wonder if it would help locate my mind……….

7. Super cute baby shower gift. If your anything like me, you try constantly to find a super cute, but original gift. Well here you have it.

8. This is a super cute wall hanger buddy. Super easy to make and strong enough to hold many different things.

9. Once again HOW AWESOME!!! I love super heroes! This is a pretty sweet nursery idea!

10. A portable high chair. This is perfect for camping or just being out doors with your little one. This would be much easier to work with then a regular high chair.

I know I have been hiding……

I Disappeared and spent sometime with my family, but now i’m back and ill put day 10 thru 14 in this one post. So here is goes………………..

Day 10: What was the hardest thing you gave up during this “weight loss”

I would have to say JUNK FOOD!! I love it. Not so much the food just what i’m doing while I eat it. We have family movie nights that consisted of not so healthy eating 

Day 11: Your favorite thinspo blog and why?

I haven’t been blogging very long so I don’t have a favorite right now.

Day 12 : What do you normally eat?

I guess I eat a lot of comfort foods. Its one of my families favorite kids of foods, and I cook them pretty well so. I still eat this but not in the portions I was eating before.

Day 13: Are you losing weight in a healthy or unhealthy way?

I am losing weight in a healthy way, with a balanced diet and exercise.

Day 14: What is your UGW? When do  you expect to reach it?

My weight loss goal is 155. I am hoping to hit in by June 1.
