Like I said in my previous post, I am doing the Couch to 5 program. This program seems the best fit for me. It has been years sense I ran, so I figured, it best to start from the beginning. I heard about this program and figured I would try it. Its completely free and also seems much easier to me instead of going staright to running long distance, you run intervals. I am using the “Run Double” app from the play store. This app keeps track of all my run information in one place, times each run, and also tracks my pace. Among other things it maps my run for in on intervals. While running this apps tells you your stats along with telling you a then to switch from a walk to a run. Tomorrow I will complete day 3 of week 1. The last two days I was able to get to 1.32 miles. Tomorrow I’m hoping to push myself to get to 1.5. I’ll post my run status tomorrow and let everyone know how it went.
