I did it! I completed my first run in a very long time! It was very cold and the weather is not at all encouraging. But I put one foot in front of the other and I did it. I can’t express how happy I am with myself the first step is always the hardest and I did it despite everything!. I decided sense I haven’t ran in a long time, I’m talking over 5 years. I would try out the Couch Potato to 5k. This way I can slowly work my way up to where I want to be. So today I completed C25K Week 1 Day 1 (1.31 miles), in 18:30, pace 14:05 min/mile. I am using the Run Double on my android, it helps track my run, calories and pace. It’s pretty awesome 😀 Here is the link to all my stats.
